Hi, I’m Dr. Fatima. I’ll tell you the truth: the part of this job I love most isn’t the dentistry itself. It’s the first time a patient I’ve worked with for months opens their phone, sees a candid photo of themselves laughing, and doesn’t reach to delete it. That’s the moment that’s kept me in this chair for thirteen years.
I live in Southborough, five minutes from the office, and I picked MetroWest on purpose. I wanted to know my patients by name. To remember that you’re starting a new job next month, that your daughter just got braces, that you’ve been putting off the implant conversation for two years and you’re finally ready. Larger practices can’t do that. We can.
I expanded our care in implants, clear aligners, and full smile makeovers so many patients can receive coordinated care close to home. My fellowships through the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (FAAIP) support the implant, bone-graft, and cosmetic care we provide in-house; when a case benefits from additional expertise, we coordinate referral or co-management with an appropriate specialist. One team that already knows you.
When Dr. Daniel O’Brien handed me the keys to a practice he’d led for 36 years, what he really handed me was his patients, three generations of some Marlborough families. That responsibility shapes how I practice every day.
