Hi, I’m Dr. Fatima. I became a dentist because I fell in love with what happens after the procedure: the patient who’d spent years covering their mouth suddenly laughing freely, the professional who walked into an interview with a whole new kind of confidence, the parent who finally smiled wide in a family photo. That transformation — not just of a smile, but of how someone moves through the world — is what drives me every single day.

When it came time to put down roots, MetroWest made sense. I wanted to be part of a community where people are building lives — raising families in Marlborough, Southborough, and Northborough, growing careers along the 495 corridor, investing in themselves along the way. I didn’t want to practice somewhere patients were just numbers. I wanted to know your name, remember your kids, and be the person you actually looked forward to seeing twice a year. I live in Southborough, just a few minutes from the office — this community is mine too.

I have a particular passion for implants, clear aligners, and full smile makeovers — which is why I went further. My dual fellowships through the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI) and the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (FAAIP) mean you won’t need a specialist referral for most complex cases. We handle it here, at the level most practices refer out.

When Dr. Daniel O’Brien retired after 36 years of caring for Marlborough families, he trusted me with his patients — and I work every day to honor what he built here. Dr. Daniel R. O'Brien brings decades of clinical excellence to Innova Smiles. A graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, he has served the Auburn and MetroWest communities for over 35 years.

Dr. O'Brien is particularly skilled in tooth repair & restoration and crowns. He is celebrated for his calm demeanor and ability to make even the most anxious patients feel at ease.

He joined Innova Smiles to continue his mission of providing high-quality, personalized care in a modern setting. Dr. O'Brien loves mentoring younger dentists and keeping up with the latest advancements in dental technology.
