How clear aligners move teeth

Clear aligners apply gentle force using a series of trays that you swap every one to two weeks. Each tray targets a small movement so your teeth gradually shift into alignment.

Daily expectations

Wear 20–22 hours per day
Remove for meals and brushing
Clean with lukewarm water—not hot—to avoid warping trays

When braces still win

Complex cases, such as severe bite issues or rotations, still respond best to bracket-and-wire systems. Braces give us more leverage to fine-tune tooth angles.

Compliance is easier with braces because they are always on. Aligners demand discipline.
