Letter from Dr. O'Brien

Dear Valued Patients and Friends:

After 36 years, and deep and thoughtful consideration, I have decided to transition the practice to the capable hands of Dr Ambereen Fatima. This will allow me the chance to explore new opportunities and to spend more time with family.

I understand that change can sometimes be unsettling, but I want to assure you that this decision was made with the utmost care and consideration for your continued oral health. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Dr. Fatima, and I am confident that she shares the same commitment to providing exceptional dental care in a warm and compassionate environment.

Dr. Fatima brings outstanding skill and credentials to our practice. After earning her degree from NYU College of Dentistry, she has dedicated the last 12 years to serving patients in our area. Demonstrating her commitment to advanced dentistry, she holds Fellowships – a mark of significant achievement – with both the American Academy of Implant Prosthodontics (FAAIP) and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (FICOI). She is also certified in Invisalign, Botox and Dermal Fillers and maintains active membership in the American Dental Association (ADA) and Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), ensuring she stays at the forefront of dental advancements.

I am confident that you will feel as comfortable with Dr. Fatima as you have with me, largely due to her wonderful approach to patient care. What truly sets her apart is her gentle manner, meticulous attention to detail, and genuine passion for dentistry, all of which contribute to a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. I know you will find her to be a trustworthy and compassionate dentist, committed to providing the same high-quality care you have come to expect.

Dr. Fatima will officially assume the practice on May 1^st 2025, and I will be available for the next few months to ensure a smooth transition. Our wonderful staff will also remain in place to provide familiar faces and continuity of care at our familiar 340 Maple Street location.
